"Dumb Money" misses the mark by miles. It's a juvenile attempt to tackle a story that deserved much better. Instead of a sharp, witty take on a modern financial uprising, we got a movie that feels like it was made for an audience who thinks stock market analysis involves consulting a Magic 8-Ball. Better to just read up on the real events – you'll get more depth, and you won't have to watch Seth Rogen pretend he knows the first thing about Wall Street.
