“MaXXXine” is a mixed bag, but one that horror fans and cinephiles will likely appreciate. It’s a meta, gory, and sometimes hilarious take on Hollywood’s dark underbelly, carried by a standout performance from Mia Goth. It earns a solid 3 out of 5 stars from me – not a must-see, but definitely worth a watch for its unique blend of satire and slasher thrills.
