April 12: Ethereum Devs Confirm Shanghai Mainnet Upgrade Date

During the All Core Developers Execution Layer #157 call on March 16, Ethereum core devs set a date of April 12 for the impending Shanghai hard fork. This announcement came after the Shapella upgrade went live on the final Goerli testnet on March 14.
