🤯 I. Love. This!!!

Thanks so much for sharing about this, this sounds like a complete dream, oh my goodness. HEAVENLY. 💕

🌆 My city does have those things, but there’s 100,000+ people around here so it’s a bit of a mess. 🥴

🔪 And instead of one of each of those talents such as the soap maker, the chocolate maker, brewery, etc. We have those too, except there’s at least like four or five of each, so everything is a big cutthroat competition. 😳 l deleted my social media accounts largely because I was so freaking tired of of watching everyone compete with one another. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Buy this! Buy that! Buy buy buy! In America, you are constantly buying things. And if you’re not constantly buying things, you’re getting products pushed at you so you’ll buy things. It’s exhausting.. Can’t I leave my house without buying something? (The answer is supposed to be “no” 🤦🏼‍♀️.) And a lot of the time these local places don’t put anything back into the community, so then you’re left asking yourself “okay well why am I even supporting you in the first place? What is the point in this?”

The culture in your town seems much quieter and a lot more laid back. Community driven because you genuinely want to be- not because you’re just trying to sell something for a quick dollar to go spend elsewhere. Your town is exactly like a place that I want to put my roots down. 🌱 And all of that history, ahhh!! 13th century?! Ottoman Empire?! My silly town was made in like 1865, that’s new as hell. 🙄😂 But then again our country wasn’t even established until like 1776 or whatever. Still waaaay too new for my taste. 😂

😇 If ya’ll ever need a Project Manager for, well, basically anything, in your cute little town, just say the words and I’m there. 👏🏼 Only slightly kidding, haha. 😳😅 😂 I really do want to not live in America anymore, but I’m not sure how to get out of here and establish a life in a different country- America purposely leaves you in the dark about any of this, because they don’t want you to leave. They make it complicated as hell because they simply cannot fathom anyone wanting to leave this country, because Americans are taught to believe that everyone in the entire world wants to live here, so we need to consider ourselves lucky and blessed, and never leave.. 😵‍💫 So, until I get everything sorted out, I’m just trying to save as much money as I can. (Within reason of course. I’m not over here starving myself in squalor just to save some dollars or anything. I am a creature of comfort. Haha.)

I’d say I’d love to visit Croatia, but I have a feeling that if I visit, I’ll never come back. 😅🤣

🤗 Thanks so much for sharing! So happy our paths have crossed here, Stevo, you’re so interesting!! 🎉

Glad you like it! The city is small and that has its advantages and disadvantages, but a good place to live. Small community, everybody knows you and most importantly when you need something, everybody helps. I will tell you something, but you better sit down, it will positively shock you. You can buy a house in Pakrac (and the surrounding area) + 2.7 acres of land for 30,000 euros. It is nearly the same price in USD. You would need to invest some money in the house, but if you buy it for 50,000 euros you can start living immediately. Not everywhere in Croatia are the prices like this, big cities and houses on the coast are several times more expensive. I have spoken with some foreigners who came to live in Pakrac (a small city, everybody knows everybody). I wondered why they choose to come here, why not on a cost or some bigger city. They do not want stress in a big city, but a peaceful place. Some of them work online. Because most of the movies we watched as kids were USA-made, a lot of us (me included) were dreaming of living in the USA. It was like a dreamland.Everything was better on a movie, better candies, houses, better adventurers,.. Later as we grew older it was not so appealing. But I would like to visit some of the places in USA (like the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, hike the Appalachian Trail,...I have a list) Croatia is a great place to visit. (😀 also made a blog post about Croatia) Small country but so different, worth visiting. What I know so far CloutWomenUnite (not know if it is he or she, guessing she) and MayumiJapan visited Croatia. If you ever decide to visit, let me know! P.S. Also very happy that our paths have crossed!

😧 Wow!! That’s not much at all, in the grand scheme of things! Very doable to save up for!! 👏🏼 DeSo is being a little wonky for me this afternoon, but I’ll definitely read your Croatia post when I’m able soon! 🤞🏼 🌳 Oh for sure, there ARE a lot of beautiful places to America, but much like you said, as you get older, you realized eh, maybe it’s not as magical and amazing as expected. Haha. Kind of what what I’m doing here, now. I see all these countries in the EU with your amazing gun control, the healthcare system that America will never have, education system, and the work benefits.. and then I look around where I’m at, where we have none of that.. and I’m like “🙁 Ew. This place actually is super lame. I’m gonna go over there, where everyone is safe and content. ✌🏼” 😂 👏🏼 Thanks again for sharing all this info, it’s all so interesting!

What fun to read! I like small towns, big ones are too crowded. I also live in a small village with a lot of water around us. It's pleasant and everyone greets each other.

Can you give me the link of part 1? Because I missed it... Next time you can tag me too, nice! 🙂
