Thank you for your mention, I am glad you find the mystery of Satoshi as captivating as I do.
Also, a lot of respect for your dad and what he achieved! A lot of reasons to be proud!
And finally, let me share a reflection (trying to address as much topics as you have touched there xD). I will connect AI with diagnosis and hope. I have some professional expertise with AI. There is a dataset we frequently use in trainings, it is called Binary Classification Prediction for type of Breast Cancer. There is a bunch of characteristics that allow a system to predict if a cell is malignant (cancerous) or benign(non-cancerous).
Now, is a technique used to simplify complex data called PCA, or Principal Component Analysis. Imagine you have a large dataset with many variables. PCA helps you find the most important ones that capture the most information. It's like finding the best angles to view a sculpture, revealing its shape most clearly with fewer views.
This is the PCA plot of this dataset. Do you see the blue dots that overlaps with red dots?
Those tend to be false positive or false negatives, either if it is diagnosed by humans or AI. What I wan to to say is that hope is a statistical reality in this overlapping region. Hope is not naive. Of course, the same is true for the opposite, but I like to be positive 😅 😂

Thank you again :) I didn't think of this part. Appreciate your feedback. And yes. That's pretty darned cool! As long as they don't use it t "diagnose" humans with "mental disorders", this could be helpful to us. I think there are many instances it could be incredibly helpful, btw. I reckon we should sort some things out with regards to our human nature and behaviour before we go full tilt, is all. Same as any "tool" - it's more how how we use it. I mean... if you don't know how to handle an axel grinder properly, you could seriously hurt yourself! ;)
