Not bad for the first trip I would say! Now you learned some things about camping, next time no surprises. I was kind of surprised that French villages are also abandoned. It seems like a global trend, moving from small places/villages to big cities. Looking forward to reading about your next adventure! : 2 : 0

Yup that definitely sounds like camper life!! Even planning ahead can leave you with unexpected situations. I too like my privacy!! I told David I do not want to be in those trailer parks very often. At my age, I donโt need to meet the โneighborsโ ๐ Sounds like a fun experience though. Iโm sure you will have many more and they will only get better because you will get used to what to expect.
