Communication is an issue, the sense of community is found here like in the Sharkgang. The project owner informs participants / members and answers questions. In general, communications are scarce and are not in alignment with the informational need of the community.

I got up at an unholy time and made coffee. I have taken care of my basic @Deso startup routine.
I started with the recommanded course in JavaScript @DiamondThumb and @degen_doge introduced me to. After a while I made two "homages" to two Deso friends and now i am thinking of getting another espressošŸ„°

You know what ticks me off on test net is the mindless, baseless and critique -less shilling of #Focus. No voices of caution, only child like voices.

It amazes me how people with millions in bank accounts and piles of degrees are not more in an open, constructive, critical and adult discussion about the development of this project.

Apparently I am the only "enfant terrible".

That being said, we have our own great project to carry forward at our own financial risk. It means we are self-reliant. Not always the easy route, but for sure the one that builds character for all team members.

Being not a total dick. I do hope all of deso will do well and grow. However, I see some difficulties that everyone (that some influence on) seems (I stress "seems") to ignore.

Oh, how I would truly love to have unified community WITH the core. That would be one of my New Year's wishes.

Have a wonderful new week, friends

Ta ta
A.

Child-like voices: Different people here for different reasons. Hard to understand through our eyes.. we have seen that which can not be unseen. For too many, DeSo is just a play ground. They have no interest in longevity.. like we do. and why do we? and they will say someday: "opps, i should have done something about that..." and they will move on to the next playground. frustrating? maybe. it doesn't have to be frustrating. ...it's kinda funny... The Shirelles said it best: ....and the darkest hour is just before slaughter ..and we will say: "opps, should have treated DeSo like a playground" that's all it is. everything we are doing here is practice. a proving ground. we will be a welcomed force on any block.

"Only posts that are very superficial or very much removed from the workings of our community are liked and commented on. I have become used to it. At this stage, I am even self censoring." On social media, we hold many pressures dictated by the platform: - pressure to only show the positives, because well, that's what everyone else is doing. - obligated to treat everyone over-optimistically, because everything is public... public criticism is This was a whole problem with my generation's women, who were so used to a friend posting and blindly commenting 'oh, so pretty', 'you go girl', whatever iteration--making many folk feel left out, or not good enough, when they compare the likes/comments. I find myself in a constant state of self-censor, because of this. And indeed, we hold an obligation to uphold the dynamic of the audience spoken to. I, for one, do not want to disrupt the positivity, so I remain silent, or go to my own private channel to vent, because I do not have any control over the audience I speak to, nor know what people want to talk about or have heard of before. It is a very difficult task to tailor words to the person we speak to, and it is important for me to only highlight very few criticisms I have that are the best refined. I support you writing your raw thoughts in this private channel, For me seeing you in this state, it is very inspiring. Because, I for the most part, only get to see the positive Arnoud, or 'in pain laughing arnoud'. This is very much healthy, and it will document your own personal journey, this is exciting! :D

Sounds like B.S. to me: Buffalo Springfield There's something happening here But what it is ain't exactly clear There's a man with a gun over there Telling me I got to beware I think it's time we stop Children, what's that sound? Everybody look, what's going down? There's battle lines being drawn Nobody's right if everybody's wrong Young people speaking their minds Getting so much resistance from behind It's time we stop Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look, what's going down? What a field day for the heat (Ooh ooh ooh) A thousand people in the street (Ooh ooh ooh) Singing songs and they carrying signs (Ooh ooh ooh) Mostly say, "Hooray for our side" (Ooh ooh ooh) It's time we stop Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look, what's going down? Paranoia strikes deep Into your life it will creep It starts when you're always afraid Step out of line, the men come and take you away We better stop Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look, what's going down? You better stop Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look, what's going down? You better stop Now, what's that sound? Everybody look, what's going down? You better stop Children, what's that sound? Everybody look, what's going down?
