Very cool ideas. I think for something like this to be adopted by a platform like X, you have to forget the idea of "wallet addresses" and make it seem more like an X-native feature. The idea of "wallet addresses" just scares too many people away. That doesn't mean this isn't still 100% feasible. You just use different terminology and allow the platform to do some of the heavy lifting for users. I do think something like this could work for micropayments on the platform, but I don't think Elon wants to open up the data on X to the blockchain. That data is super valuable to him, both as a stream of revenue and as a way to help build the Large Language Model that Grok (xAI) uses. I do think we will eventually see Elon delve into introducing some sort of blockchain into X, but honestly I don't see crypto being adopted as the main form of monetary transactor on the platform anytime soon. I think X will ultimately create their own internal closed monetary system to start, but will allow people to deposit and withdrawal crypto as well as eventually trade it. Of course I could be completely wrong. Only time will tell. : 10 : 5

There is an assumption that X is a gift to humanity. I don't believe that. I'm more inclined to believe it's about control. Or the continuation of an 'everything' platform dream that Elon has had for years. That makes it a piece in a jigsaw, not an endeavour to gift the world access to the most powerful human resource of the future. Human innovation, expression, and creativity. Access to AI is one thing. Access to the data trove of human expression that drives AI.. that's something else entirely. Let Elon do Elon and DeSo do Deso. : 8 : 3

When did he say this? "Elon has expressed interest in open sourcing the content on Twitter to being fully transparent to achieve guaranteed Freedom of speech." While he has tried to give an impression that he's a Freedom Maxi, I always felt like he spoke about open-sourcing the algorithm (at least the parts around banning users and boosting content) for greater transparency and feedback. If anything, he's made moves to limit more open building of Apps on X by making APIs more expensive, restricting APIs, etc. We've seen many DESOxTwitter Apps like @setu_deso crash and burn because of these actions by him. I would say highly unlikely and probably something we should stop wasting our time on. : 1 : 0

I was listening Lex’s podcast with Bezos, he mentions about importance of infrastructure, he said: if postal services, credit cards or internet wasn’t there he couldn’t build Amazon. @nader has seen the importance of infrastructure problem and come with most innovative idea. I hope all this effort works at the end, so that social media can be improved dramatically in so many different ways for content creators as well as consumers : 2 : 1
