Hey JD - technically speaking you're not homeless right? I mean, you live in a bus?

I would imagine that getting the bus to the point where you can live in it might have cost you some money! And that money could have been spent in rent somewhere? But you simply preferred the camper-van lifestyle better?

I'm still trying trying to figure out what success means to me...

But this article made me think. So thank you for that.

Yeah, technically not homeless. The bus was set up already, but cost me $45k. AUD. I couldn't get a rental. Even though I had cash in the bank. Over 2 years ago. As I can't work, and a single dad. Rental vacancy rates then where 1% with demand way higher than supply. And since then vacancy rates have dropped. 0.68% currently. As a result, rent costs have sky rocketed, resulting in the homeless rate rising. So I'm in a better position than most. But still struggling financially and trying to improve things for the future.
