Looks great team, love your work!

Only bit of feedback I might offer is that the 'Create Account' button is listed as 'Create Account / Login', or alternatively just have two buttons that do the same action (pop the identity window).

It is a bit weird to open it an see an anonymous account, I wonder if that could be hidden away and have a bit more of a explainer to what DeSo wallet is and what it can do for logged out users.

yes, it's the only useful thing there that I can use as documentation on derived keys management 😀

Is this open source?

Would love add some of the features I built into @wollo to this wallet?

While the concept of the DESO Social Wallet and its aim to elevate the Web3 experience is certainly intriguing, I can't help but express my concerns regarding the delays that have been plaguing its development.

Timely execution is crucial for maintaining user interest and staying ahead in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. It's important for the team to address these delays and ensure transparent communication with the community to manage expectations and retain trust.

I hope that moving forward, the development process will be streamlined, and the DESO Social Wallet will deliver on its promises without any further setbacks.

Do @deso users automatically login with their wallets or is this a separate dapp required with each login

Could somebody be so kind and elaborate somewhat more about the derived keys? How do they work? How do they prevent private key leakage? What do I need to do to use them?

I am still new to DeSo.
diamonds: 2   likess: 1
@SeanSlater - Mar 15, 2023
A derived key is created and approved by the user - usually as a result of the application requesting access. The derived key can be authorised only to perform certain actions and have a spending limit. So if an app tries to do anything more than it's authorised to do, the transaction will fail. This gives users confidence when using apps because the only thing at risk is what the derived key is allowed to do. Previously, logging into an app with 'access level 4' could let a malicious app drain the account completely - this is no longer an issue with derived keys. No action from the user is required before using them - just look out when logging in/authorising apps for actions.

Thank you for your explanation. For example, where can I see what authorization Diamond App currently has?
diamonds: 1   likess: 0
@SeanSlater - Mar 15, 2023
Diamond app doesn't use derived keys, it's using your primary key with 'access level 4', which is full control.
