Iām not sure why Zirkels allowed me to ārewardā you on this article, but not on a different one I just read. Anyway, sorry to read that you live with chronic pain, but as they sayā¦misery loves company. I too canāt remember the last time I ever felt good. This is why itās 1:00 in the morning and Iām awake writing to you LOL I hurt all overā¦to the point Iām very often nauseous. I just took a Zofran to help with that. I am under the care of a pain management specialist but all they do anymore is give me the ability to get some meds for the times I canāt suck it up enough to handle the pain without some help. For the most part I just try to power through it. Iāve gained a lot of weight because the pain keeps me from being that over the top fitness freak I used to be. This in turn just makes things worse. Iām in a horrible snowball effect. As Merle Haggard sings, āIām rolling downhill like a snowball headed for hell.ā š¶ Time to put on my meditation app and see if I can focus on the story being told and not my legal issues or the pain Iām in. Good luck to us both my friend! I sure hope for good things and better days for us š¤ Hope Keegan is doing well!! āš¼ : 2 : 1

@JDArmstrong - Apr 13, 2023 Yes. I put on a stack of weight since the accident. I've since stopped adding and even lost some. But need to lose 30 to 40kgs. The added weight contributes to the pain. 1kg extra weight is 4kgs worth to the knees in loading. This causes more pain. Which of course all of that contributes to mental health issues. Which adds to weight gain.. Seems like there's a cycle there. A rather vicious one. Haven't even mentioned sleep issues. Also getting cold here. : 2 : 1 |
