Human learning is enriched by the emotional response to failure, which motivates resilience and determination, leading to growth and success. AI's logical and rational approach lacks emotional experience and consciousness, hindering its ability to truly learn from failure and be inspired. Ongoing research in affective computing aims to bridge this emotional gap, enhancing AI's understanding and response to human emotions while recognizing the goal is not to make AI emotional beings but to improve their interaction with humans.
