Retirement Isn't Worth Sacrificing Decades of Your Life

If you’re a millennial like me (born in the late 80s,) you’re probably well familiar with the playbook previous generations deemed suitable for us:

Graduate or learn a trade and get a well-paying job
Get a family, a house, and two nice cars
Work harder and get promoted to pay off your debts and elevate your lifestyle
Repeat the last step and hustle until retirement
