Part 8, Cruise from Germany to the Caribbean Islands in 36 days


The start of the day was special and restless. Special because we were again welcomed with a rainbow from my balcony, while visiting Sint Maarten.


But also restless….. we had taken into account to get up on time and be ready because, like everyone else, we were looking forward to a day ashore, but that was not so obvious.

From the balcony we can follow the docking of the ship reasonably well, but it took a long time! There was a lot of communication between the sailors working on the ropes,
